OUR STORY
Why Capitalist Club Exists
Back in 2018, I started hosting poker nights at my house. At first, it was just a few friends getting together once a week.
Before long, I realized people weren't coming back because of the poker. They were coming back because of the community.
Most of the players were business owners, entrepreneurs, and professionals. Ideas were exchanged. Partnerships formed. Friendships grew. Poker was simply the excuse that brought great people together.
When the pandemic arrived, those nights became even more meaningful. Our community continued showing up for one another and grew from a handful of friends into multiple full tables every week.
Eventually my daughter was born, and hosting dozens of people in my living room wasn’t practical anymore. Rather than let the community disappear, I built Capitalist Club—a place where we could continue getting together and building meaningful relationships.
Poker is still part of our Competitive Networking Nights every Tuesday, but it isn’t the main focus. As Capitalist Club grows and evolves, the purpose remains the same: bringing ambitious people together to compete, connect, and build genuine relationships.
I'm grateful to everyone who has helped shape this community, and I'm excited to see where we build it together next.
